The Muzac Man
Volume I
"A Man Who'll Never Forget — A Man Who'll Never Forgive."
Dr. O’Conner walked over to the east wall, where the bodies were stored, and pulled out drawer number six. It halted with a heavy clicking sound. The body was still in its shroud and unzipped, though the top half was only flipped over to cover the face and chest. Now, he pulled back the sides to reveal its gruesome interior. Nathan Nicolas Prud lay in state, his head almost twisted all the way around, and the cuts from Dr. Ketchum’s scalpel, now fully apparent to the eye, had created an almost unnatural vision before the police captain.
“The man wasn’t just killed,” Dr. O’Conner said. “This guy looks as if he was executed in a manner that might have been seen five hundred years ago; something from the Tower of London, perhaps, but surely not here… not in modern-day Illinois, not in the middle of some park.
“No... no, it sure doesn’t look typical,” Captain Holzer returned. He held one finger under his nose in hopes of diverting the cadaver’s odd scent. "It doesn't look typical at all."
When the body of a licentious college professor is found murdered, mutilated, and twisted in a nature preserve, Police Captain James Holzer and Chief Medical Examiner Robert Ketchum can find no answers to what is clearly a homicide of unknown origin. Surrounded by bizarre, occult-related circumstances, the quiet town of DeKalb County, Illinois, is thrown into a state of panic. But when FBI Special Agent Martin Le’Fadden, a shadowy character, enters the scene, the case takes on even darker overtones.
Meanwhile, a thousand miles away, in coastal Baytown, Texas, Madam Tarja Delevingne, a vile, devil-worshipping witch, is receiving Biblical quotations from an unknown, online assailant. Ordered to change her ways and to return to Christ before it’s too late, the infamous witch of Magnus Datha becomes enraged and vows revenge. Now, the vile woman and her heinous cult set out to punish the unknown aggressor, but what awaits them is far deadlier than any of them could ever imagine. Believed to be using dark, ritualistic magick, the killer, having been connected to hundreds of homicides across the nation, is now a major person of interest to law enforcement agencies across the globe.
Join the hunt for the MUZAC MAN, the first in an epic series. See if you can discover the truth behind this mysterious persona who has garnered the attention of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

The Muzac Man
Welcome to Garver Town
Volume II
"Catch Him If You Can ... Catch Him Before He Catches You."
"Pete quickly examined Bush’s facial features and committed every detail to memory. This was also standard Bureau training. He had concluded that the man looked like a mix between singer Billy Corgan of the Smashing Pumpkins and Brian Urlacher, the linebacker with the Chicago Bears. The man’s facial features were more hardened than the photos of him he saw in A.D. Fanning’s office that morning, appearing more sturdy and maybe even dangerous. He wasn’t the pudgy kid of the past. Now, he looked more like that of a Joe Rogan or even a Dana White, than that of a soft college professor. The man was large and serious now, appearing more like a man who would kick your ass in a fight than any scientist who might whimper and run.
The man looked angry."
After a series of gruesome murders had caught the attention of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Assistant Director Margaret Fanning and Assistant Special Agent in Charge Scott Howington team up to investigate a man named Patrick Allen Bush, also known as the MUZAC MAN to the townspeople. The odd man lives alone in the Garver Town Mall, a dying shopping centre hidden deep within the thickets of northern Florida. There, the odd loner works as a security guard and lives with his little black cat, Grimalkin, within the dark and decaying innards of a long-abandoned Kmart. Though seemingly a quiet man with no criminal record, the Muzac Man is nonetheless suspected of the murders. But just who or what this strange man is remains the question.
The FBI will discover that the odd, loner security guard has a painful past; a sad and angry past. They will learn that even though he is connected to dozens upon dozens of homicides across the United States and even Europe, he nonetheless has an airtight alibi for every one of the crimes. As they dig deeper, they find that not only are the victims occultists, witches and devil worshipers, but that their suspect uses Biblical quotations and religious banter to taunt the victims, victims that had all died by highly mysterious methods where each had suggested that black magick had been used.
Now, as A.D. Fanning and A.S.A.C. Howington race to unearth the strange man’s dark secrets, with the crimes falling under the headings of 'Bizarre' and 'Unearthly,' they assign Special Agents Rick Thyssen and Pete Wellington to investigate. And, because the murders have many characteristics that appear to be occult-related, where the homicides fail to offer any logical explanation, the savvy agents will have to dig deeper in order to find any logical answer to the crimes, or the odd culprit behind them. But will they learn the truth about the Muzac Man and what he truly is? Most of all, will they discover the truth in time, before someone else meets an unspeakable fate?

Dark Revelations of Patrick Allen Bush
Volume III
"THE DEAD LEAVE CLUES. THE DAMNED LEAVE WARNINGS."
The four agents did their best to mentally recreate a possible scenario for Frigmann’s death. Rick was busy writing ideas down in his notepad, trying desperately to redirect his mental images to the written word; trying desperately to make his queasy stomach calm down despite the scent of stale blood; the all too recognisable odour of salt and copper, with just a hint of fast-approaching putrefaction.
Pete, however, just stared at the other tarp-covered masses that rested on the metal tables. He scratched his chin and picked at his lower lip, looking like a nervous girl preparing for the cheerleader tryouts at some Midwestern high school.
“This, gentlemen, is what’s left of Edward Newbern,” Dr Standish snapped. The two agents from the Indiana field office just looked at each other with astonished expressions. Pete just stared at the corpse, if it could be explained as having once been a living human. His mouth now halfway ajar, Pete just slowly shook his head from left to right. He had suddenly realised that he had never seen anything like that before. He looked over to Rick, who was taking notes on his observations, trying desperately not to look at the mess for too long. They hadn’t even had breakfast yet, but found themselves feeling altogether nauseous from the foul sight...
C’mon, man," Rick thought to himself. You’ve seen worse than this … get a grip.
Edward Newbern’s yellowish-white spine jutted out of his twisted back. It stood upward as if some rigid, alien tail was standing erect. The mass of tissue below it looked more like a man than Frigmann had, that was for sure, but that heap of what was left of Newbern was simply astonishing. It was Newbern’s face, which could be seen lying on the plastic tarp-lined, stainless-steel table, that caused the most unrest. The man’s face held a permanent expression of terror that no Hollywood makeup crew could ever have recreated."
In 1994, Patrick Allen Bush stood in the presence of the mighty Society of Rood, the ancient Christian occult order known to history as the Societas Crucis et Pentalfae. Within the storm-lashed fortress of Loarre, upon the rocky reaches of Spain, Bush partakes in his last rite of accession, when he becomes a member of the ancient cult. He was no longer merely the strange security guard of Garver Town, Florida. Before the hooded elders of the shadowy Society of Rood, he kneels beneath the thunder and receives his place among the mysterious Thirteenth Counsel.
There, within hidden battlements beneath the medieval stones, the man once dismissed as an eccentric hermit is revealed as something far more dangerous: a physicist, a mystic, a weapon, and perhaps the chosen instrument of a holy wrath no government on earth can understand.
But the Society of Rood does not simply pray. It acts.
Through rites older than nations and through sciences no academy would dare recognise, Bush calls upon forces from beyond the ordinary world to punish those who have escaped earthly justice. In New Orleans, three practitioners of a vile and murderous cult flee through the rain-haunted ruins of the Desire Housing Development, only to discover that the thing pursuing them cannot be shot, bargained with, or outrun. The forgotten dead have been remembered. The innocent have been avenged. And once again, Patrick Allen Bush’s name drifts like smoke through the files of the FBI.
Now, the Bureau knows the case has moved beyond homicide. Special Agents Rick Thyssen and Pete Wellington are pulled deeper into a web of ritual killings, occult alphabets, Biblical warnings, intelligence briefings, and impossible survivor accounts. Assistant Director Margaret Fanning, already troubled by the growing pattern, must now confront a more terrifying question: is Patrick Bush a murderer, a cult operative, a religious zealot, a rogue scientist—or something that does not fit within any federal classification?
As Monica Vass arrives in Jacksonville, she carries with her the strange burden of another mystery: the infamous Dyatlov Pass incident of 1959. What connection could nine dead Russian students in the Ural Mountains have to a reclusive mall guard in North Florida? Why has the FBI been ordered to study old Soviet files, occult symbols, and obscure historical disasters? And why do Monica’s dreams begin to open upon cities, temples, infernal passageways, dead worlds, and cosmic visions that seem less like nightmares than warnings?
Meanwhile, the intelligence community has begun to circle. The CIA, military officials, and clandestine departments buried deep within Washington’s machinery have gathered what little they can on the Society of Rood. What they uncover is nearly impossible to accept. The Society is not a band of ignorant fanatics, but an international order of scholars, scientists, theologians, physicists, astronomers, archaeologists, and occult historians. They have infiltrated universities, research institutions, archaeological sites, and perhaps even the highest corridors of power. Stranger still, each of its central members appears to share one impossible commonality: at some point in their lives, they had died. And at the centre of it all remains Bush.
His work in quantum physics and non-Euclidean geometry has alarmed scientific authorities. His suspected connections to CERN and the Large Hadron Collider have drawn the attention of agencies that do not officially exist. His name appears wherever forbidden books, lost artefacts, Theban letters, and unexplained deaths converge. To some in Washington, he is a potential terrorist. To others, he may be the key to forces mankind was never meant to control. And then there is Martin Le’Fadden. An alleged federal agent in outdated clothes, appearing at crime scenes and disturbing medical examiners, Le’Fadden seems to move through the investigation like a phantom. No one can find him on official rosters. No one can explain his authority. Yet his presence suggests that someone—or something—has been watching the Muzac Man for far longer than the FBI understands.
As the search widens from Florida to Washington, from Spain to Russia, from forgotten occult manuscripts to the hidden architecture of creation itself, Volume III tears open the mythology behind Patrick Allen Bush and the Society of Rood. The case is no longer confined to bodies, warnings, or crime scenes. It is now a collision between faith and madness, ancient magick and modern physics, law enforcement and secret orders, human justice and divine vengeance.
The FBI wants answers, the military wants control, the Society of Rood wants its enemies destroyed, and Patrick Allen Bush—alone in his dead mall, watched by governments, feared by cults, and guided by powers no mortal court could summon—may already be preparing for the next revelation.
For the Muzac Man is no longer hiding in the darkness. He is becoming it.

The Muzac Man
Harbinger of Holy Retribution
Volume IV
“Once Patrick Bush had finished his cigarette and tipped back what was left of his drink, he placed the empty glass on the table and returned to his staring match with the Atlantic Ocean’s ferocious light show. Monica watched as the man lowered his head and mumbled something to himself. She slipped in the earbuds and pointed the almost invisible, white laser at the window adjacent to Patrick Bush and waited. Thanks to the powerful demodulation software, she was able to pick up even the quietest vibrations in the room, including the man’s whispers and breathing. Bush had a radio playing somewhere in his living room, which she had recognised as being Béla Bartók’s Music for Strings, Percussion, and Celesta. She could hear what sounded like ice cubes falling into a tray from within the kitchen’s refrigerator-freezer, and the sounds of weak rustling from one of the rooms.
Within a few seconds, Patrick Bush’s voice could be heard, even if faintly. Bush, his head still lowered as he grumbled in low, guttural sounds that had formed what could only have been words, had made Monica cringe. Even with her vast storehouse of languages and semantics, none of it had helped. She quickly hit the record option on the expensive listening device and then motioned to Erick to be very quiet as Patrick Bush continued to mutter the strange words...
“Sheth-he-aath-brooka-ae,” the strange man softly groaned. “Aēšma-Daēva … Osmooodaeus, King of the Chained! Agrath bat Mahalath, Queen of Revavah, send thy BROOOOD! Chaay-mooch-al-ah-zed, AL HA ZES … KOSSSSTAY-RA!”
Now, Monica sat back and then looked away. The words were foreign to her for the most part, but not entirely. It had been a curse from a far ancient time, when daemons walked the earth and ruled the hearts of evil men. She knew...she knew what Patrick Bush was.”
The war for Patrick Allen Bush has begun.
No longer dismissed as a lonely security guard haunting the dead corridors of Garver Town Mall, Bush has become the subject of federal warrants, military suspicion, clandestine intelligence operations, and secretive departments buried deep within the machinery of Washington. To the FBI, he is a person of interest in a widening pattern of impossible deaths. To Homeland Security and the CIA, he may be a domestic threat with foreign connections. To the United States government, he is a problem that must be contained before the full scope of his knowledge becomes known.
But to the Society of Rood, Patrick Allen Bush is something else entirely. He is the Eighth Meister.
He is the keeper of terrible equations. He is the arm of judgment. And he may be one of the last men on earth who understands what is coming.
In Harbinger of Holy Retribution, the investigation that began with strange murders and occult warnings expands into a terrifying archaeology of faith, science, and apocalypse. Years before the FBI ever marked his name, Bush had travelled through Turkey, Greece, Egypt, and other ancient regions with Dr Vikoria Erlkönig and the hidden scholars of the Societas Crucis et Pentalfae. Their purpose was not simple excavation, nor scholarly curiosity. Beneath the stones of Göbekli Tepe, within the coded mysteries of the Scrolls of Hyberia, and among the forgotten burial places of antiquity, they sought the Nine Tombs of Tholetus and the Tree of Thebanuës—a mystical map said to chart the fate of the world from the birth of Christ to the rise of the Antichrist.
Now, those buried secrets have resurfaced.
Assistant Director Margaret Fanning, shaken by dreams of a blacker-than-black figure with burning yellow eyes, moves forward despite the growing pressure around her, though larger threats are looming. Now, Judge Howard Emmitt Hall, an angry and unethical judge, wants Bush detained, interrogated, and punished. Military officials want him classified as a terrorist asset. Intelligence agencies want to know what he has given to CERN, what he has hidden in his equations, and why his name appears wherever lost artefacts, occult alphabets, and forbidden scientific theories converge.
Meanwhile, the mysterious Martin Le’Fadden is revealed to be something even more troubling: Colonel Jeffery Shaun McFadden, a shadow operative connected to Department Eight, a Pentagon think tank with powers and privileges no one in the Bureau seems able to explain. For years, McFadden has watched Bush from the shadows. He has studied him, followed him, and prepared for the day the strange man from Garver Town would finally be brought into custody.
That day has arrived.
At the Folkston ICE Processing Centre in Georgia, Special Agent Rick Thyssen begins the long-awaited interrogation of Patrick Allen Bush. Behind glass, hidden observers wait for answers. What they receive instead is terror. Bush does not behave like a frightened suspect. He does not rage, plead, or explain himself like an ordinary criminal. He sits with unnatural calm, as if the walls, locks, badges, guns, and cameras mean nothing to him. When his eyes burn with an amber light that no science can account for, even the men who came to study him begin to wonder whether they have captured a prisoner—or invited judgment into the room.
While Bush is detained, the FBI has sent a detail of specialists to examine the strange man’s abode. Now, Special Agents Monica Vass, Pete Wellington, Dr Erick Ashcroft Grange, and Agent Cynthia Batten will scrutinise the abandoned Kmart for any evidence to prove Bush’s involvement. What they find inside the dead department store, however, is not the dwelling of a madman, but the laboratory, chapel, archive, and inner sanctum of a mind operating beyond accepted limits. Equations, Theban symbols, old Muzak, occult literature, maps, artefacts, and scientific notations transform the ruined building into something both dreadful and sacred. The deeper they search, the more the agents understand that Garver Town Mall is not simply where Bush hides.
It is where the impossible has been waiting.
Dr Erick Grange, now revealed as a blood relative of Patrick Bush, becomes the Bureau’s most valuable and dangerous asset. His knowledge of physics, theology, genealogy, and esoteric science allows him to see connections that others cannot. But the closer Erick comes to understanding Bush, the more he feels himself being drawn into the same dark architecture of destiny. His partnership with Monica Vass, born under the guise of surveillance, begins to move beyond professional duty, even as both are pulled toward revelations that may destroy every boundary between faith, government, science, and madness.
From Palm Beach restaurants to opera houses, from hidden listening posts to the storm-lit windows of the Breakers Hotel, Monica and Erick shadow Bush through a world of wealth, secrecy, and coded conversation. They watch him meet foreign contacts, whisper in languages no scholar can identify, and stare into violent Atlantic storms as though speaking to something beyond the horizon. Every observation only deepens the central horror: Patrick Bush is not running from the Bureau.
He is letting them follow.
And beyond the investigations of the FBI, beyond the ambitions of Department Eight, beyond the Society of Rood’s ancient mission, another truth begins to emerge. The deaths, the artefacts, the tombs, the equations, the dreams, and the warnings are not separate mysteries. They are fragments of one approaching catastrophe. Something vast is moving behind the veil of history. Something older than the churches, older than the empires, older than mankind’s little sciences.
The world believes it is hunting the Muzac Man.
But Patrick Allen Bush may already know the end of the story. And when the quiet man finally strikes, no prison, no government, no army, and no secret department will be able to stop the harbinger of holy retribution.

The Muzac Man
Trial of the Society of Rood
Volume V
“‘The Three Days of Unholy Judgement!’ That was what the newspapers called it, just before all the news services had come to a screeching halt; before cellphone towers crashed to the earth and satellites fell from the sky, before the internet had become a memory—before the world we knew was lost.”
As the evil General Andreas de la Barth and his cultists had burned in their temple of vile contempt to God and all that was holy, as Los Angeles burned to the ground in a night of hellfire and madness, the world would seem to follow that metropolis of sin into forever destruction and death. And as the once great cities of the United States would explode and burn to the ground, or fall into those massive pits of blazing fire that had appeared as if out of nowhere, or which had succumbed to the raging oceans that swept over the masses as if from the mighty arms of some great beast, the world had become a nightmare. But, as the world would crumble, and as the weather produced the mightiest of hurricanes and tornados or floods of Biblical proportion, the survivors began to witness the insane, with visions of the impossible. Had the world fallen into madness, just as the Muzac Man had predicted?
Storms rage as the stalwart agents of the Federal Bureau of Investigation struggle to survive, as the ragtag remnants of the Jacksonville, Florida field office assist Generals Burke and Welben and their soldiers in apprehending the deadly Muzac Man. But as Special Agents Rick Thyssen and Pete Wellington prepare to corner Patrick Allen Bush, they and the others learn the horrible truth about the strange man and what he truly is—the harbinger of death and chaos. Meanwhile, Dr. Erick Grange, Special Agent Monica Vass and Agent Cynthia Batten approach Patrick Bush in his long-abandoned Kmart abode, as the angry magus culminates his plans to release the titans of destruction upon the world he hates: the Old Ones of ancient pagan lore. Now, they will have to subdue the Muzac Man, that Dark Seraph of Garver Town, before he completes his ritual, before all is lost—but will they be able to convince the man in time?
Now, moments before General de la Barth was killed back in Los Angeles, he had ordered his second-in-command, Lieutenant Colonel Dinan Trask and his vile assassins, the Exercitus autem Satanas, the ‘Army of Satan,’ to kill Patrick Bush. Despite this, the men of Department Eight had prepared for the general’s commands and had a special unit from the 75th Ranger Battalion, along with an elite unit from Colonel Thurman’s Task Force 88, to meet the deadly assassins head-on. What they hadn’t known, however, was that Patrick Bush had known all along, having sent his own assassins of a very different type to fight an otherworldly battle to the death.
Prepare for the end, as the Muzac Man culminates with a crescendo of chaos and excitement—as the world as we know it enters biblical prophecy—as the man of lawlessness begins the final countdown.

Banished
A Comprehensive Look into the Mind and Soul of the Sex Offender with Sex Offender Case Studies and the Recidivism Challenge
“A scholarly work deserving particular attention from all behavioural specialists and human services personnel. Banished offers superb examples of how sexual divergence interferes with normal development and threatens society as a result. A most needed and timely body of research that will assist medical and legal professionals equally.”
—Dr. J. Johannes Petersen McAddam, PhD, Professor Emeritus,
Lytchett Minster, Dorset, United Kingdom
“Having worked with this population in both the Continental United States and Puerto Rico, I can say that the author has an excellent background with this form of therapy, especially in understanding the sex offender as a client. The case studies sections are strongly important for understanding these people and what to expect from them. Well done!”
—Esperanza Cavallo-Voss, M.S., Former social worker, Princeton Hospital (1990-96), Orlando, Florida
“Banished is packed with information that the public needs to know. It’s a dissection of the offender’s mental, emotional and spiritual makeup that should give the reader a chance to see what is usually locked behind prison doors, or misrepresented by television programs. This is a very disturbing, but also very interesting addition to the mental health field.”
—Bryant Garrick, M.S., CAC (cand) (Tampa, Florida)

"Banished presents a detailed review of the sex offender; the paedophile and the child molester, and directly explores his thinking processes, reasoning and related issues that offer a clear and concise exposé of these most hated people. In addition to covering the adult offender, this work also exemplifies the thought processes of child and adolescent offenders in order to offer cues for parents and educators of possible abuse or illicit behaviour. Through direct examples of client art, case histories and offender testimonies, the book’s purpose will surely educate, as well as in purposing methods for positive change in the process. The research and findings are based on a journalistic foundation, as well as from an experiential point-of-view, where the author had worked with and had interviewed the subjects exemplified in the case studies section directly.
One could view this book as a documentary in text form to that of a simple scientific assessment or exposé.
